Do I need to finish a program all in one sitting.

No. The system will remember the last chapter you completed and start you there the next time you login.

Do I need to use the same computer to access the program.

No. You can access your account from any computer that has an Internet connection 24/7.

Can I pay by any other method besides using a credit card?

Yes. We accept cheques or money orders as well. If you prefer to use this method of payment you will have to first call your local St. John Ambulance branch to get your username and password to access the course(s) as well as make arrangements to either drop off or mail in your payment.

How long do I have to finish the course(s) that I have enrolled in?

There is no expiry to access the course(s) until completion.

Yes, for larger groups, we are able to customize online course content to suit the specific needs of a particular organization.

Who must have a Lockout/Tagout program?

All companies whose employees service or maintain equipment with potentially hazardous energy sources must have an compliant Lockout/Tagout program.

Lockout/Tagout is required whenever employees are exposed to hazardous energy. The program is designed to protect service and maintenance employees from unexpected startup.

    How often do I need TDG training?

    Every 3 years.

    If I change employers / jobs, do I have to retrain?

    According to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations a TDG certificate is not transferable between employers. You will need to be re-certified by the new employer and possess a training certificate with the new employer's address

    Where do I keep my Certificate?

    A TDG training certificate is required to be kept on the individual that requires the training when they are working. If a Transport Canada inspector request to see your TDG certificate while you are working, you are required to show it to them.
